Magic forest friends
Tonight is the start of T. en P.'s autumn holidays.No school or work for a week :)
We hope for sunny walks, planned a dvd lord of the rings marathon with friends (T), visit Primark in Liege, bake a chocolate cake, watch Merlin together, maybe visit a open day at a university. Make pumpkin soup and just enjoy freedom. And I'm pretty sure we'll have some pyjama days.
I will be offline and I will take my clock and eye plant to an art event the last weekend.

Gum
I feel a bit spaced out, had a lot of tooth pain lately. Visited my dentist a lot. That's ok with me, it's a nice guy and at the end the f**.. pain is gone.
I try to relax in the chair by singing songs in my head. Favourite are songs from the Rocky Horror show. "When Eddie said, he didn't like his ted, you know he was a no good kid....". That helps really!, if things get evil I think of steamy windows :)
What's your trick to relax in the dentist chair?
Made some stamps from erasers, and that helped a lot to heal the soul and my gums.

La Droguerie Rennes
This shop was high on my wish list of things to see in Brittany. It's a true crafters paradise. I could have easily spend a whole day looking at all the lovely things. Romantic fabrics and so much beads, buttons, wool, bias bands all in nice colours. The staff was super friendly and even spoke english! There are 10 La Droguerie shops in France. Wish there was one in Maastricht!
And the book La Deco des Parisiennes is so dreamy, most girls that show their petits appartements are artist and creatices.

Paper moon
It's portrait week :) Not so easy to create the image I love. Smart teacher, to start with self portraits. So hard to step in front of the lens. Still try to hide.
