My dear friend Audrey is up for a big change in her life. She will be leaving Holland in a few months to live with her sweetheart on Martha's Vineyard, USA.
I'm going to miss her, but see this bright future for her, living on a beautiful island, fishing on the sea together with her love. And gorgeous installations in Boston and New York.
And thanks for the Internet, we can easy stay in touch.
These weeks she will be working on a kind of 'goodbye installation'.
We started with a group of friends tearing fabric strips and weaved fabrics around her body. This will grow in the coming time and will be a part of the visual arts event Glocal Affairs on Sunday 2 november 2008 until 30 november at the Timmerfabriek in Maastricht.
